Due to these properties, the Utility tiles have a +/- 2mm thermal expansion, making this the perfect flooring to use in uninsulated garage gyms as well as high intensity fitness bootcamp spaces where temperatures will vary. Designed for ease of installation, the Utility tile features a hidden plastic connector system that locks the tiles together, eliminating the need for any floor adhesive. These tiles can be laid in a wall to wall installation, or purchased in smaller volumes to cover specific areas, and can be laid over most subfloors. The anti-slip surface provides a safe and stable environment for a wide range of exercises and activities. To finish off the edge and create a professional look, add a Utility tile reducer to eliminate the tripping hazard. The Utility Tile is made with a proprietary 3-stage compression manufacturing process, making it incredibly durable and resistant to wear and tear in heavy free weight zones in health clubs. The tile is easy to maintain, with occasional vacuuming and damp mopping with a mild soap and water solution recommended to keep the surface looking its best.
